Our location, Villa Sumaya, is a world-class retreat center on Lake Atitlan and a truly magical space for transformation featuring gorgeous gardens, amazing temples and a full-service hotel, spa and restaurant serving delectable vegetarian meals.

Saturday

11:00 opening circle (intention setting, yoga, journaling)

1:30 lunch & free time (swim, soak in the hot tub, hang out in a hammock, treat yourself to a spa treatment, etc.)

4:00 afternoon workshop (yin yoga, pranayama/breathing, chanting, writing/journaling, mindfulness)

6:30 dinner & free time for tarot readings, hanging out, resting

Sunday

7:30 morning flow (gentle stretching, pranayama/breathing, journaling)

9:00 breakfast

10:30 closing ritual: sacred cacao or sauna ceremony {group’s choice}

1:00 lunch

About the Teacher

Michelle Margaret Fajkus is a heart-centered teacher, writer and creator of YOGA FREEDOM. She has been joyfully teaching since 2002 and has led yoga and mindfulness retreats in Guatemala since 2010. Michelle offers modifications for all levels, from beginner to advanced, all ages and body types. Her workshops incorporate centering, intention-setting, hatha poses, vinyasa flow, dharma, yin, breathing, chakra chanting, mindfulness, writing, meditation and relaxation.
