Though there is no time, we are bound by it
Life begins, then it ends
It has a big pile of moments, a stack of days,
sandwiched between the first breath and the last

What to do with this time and energy?

Here are the things I weed out;
I don’t have the time and energy for them anymore:
Lies and gossip
General negativity and manipulative media
Lazy thinking (fundamentalism)
bitches (complainers)
bastards (criminals)
charity (for pity’s sake)
oppression
injustice
inequality (aka White Privilege)

Here are the virtues I choose to cultivate instead
with my precious life and power:
Service
Mindfulness
Flexibility
Balance
Strength
Gratitude
Kindness
Love
