The remaining 50% of your payment to date will be used to fund a dedicated yoga student to attend a Yoga Freedom Retreat. You may also choose to transfer your entire payment to a person who fills your spot at the retreat, or use the entire payment to fund the Yoga Freedom Becas Program.

Yoga Freedom Becas Program

Scholarships for dedicated yoga students who otherwise could not afford to attend Yoga Freedom retreat.

Yoga At Your Own Risk

Yoga requires physical exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury. Consult with a physician regarding participation in yoga classes. Teachers will teach with compassion and care for students’ bodies and minds, but students assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages incurred as a result of participating in classes or workshops held by Yoga Freedom.

Responsible Travel and Tourism

Yoga Freedom retreats offer individuals the opportunity to enhance their health and well being in luxurious and natural surroundings. This involves traveling to different destinations in Guatemala, each with their own unique environmental, cultural and economic conditions. This policy is a demonstration of our commitment to the sustainability of the places we visit, and respect for those who live there. As part of every retreat we will:

• Protect pristine natural environments by not littering and respecting local vegetation, sea life and wildlife.
• Respect local customs and regulations
• Contribute to the communities we visit by buying local and serving the community with volunteer karma yoga activities

Yoga Freedom values the people and places we visit though our retreats, just as we value the individuals who participate.
* Our retreats only use accommodation and tourist facilities that are locally  owned. We ensure the staff working for these organisations are appropriately rewarded. * We provide a percentage of earnings from our retreats to local causes.
