creative writing tips

  • The blank page is daunting until the moment you sit down and write.
  • Begin with or without an end in mind. Just begin.
  • Writing is one continuous, tangential discourse with your self.
  • Use luscious vocabulary without being histrionic or pedantic.
  • Harvest delicious sentences and cultivate bountiful paragraphs.
  • In the act of quality writing, you have no choice but to be present.
  • Writing, as life, is all about the journey. Drop goals and plans.
  • Good writing is relatable yet original.
  • Be brave. Read your work aloud to yourself and/or others.
  • Don’t write what you know; write what you enjoy.
